Sing it like you mean it Wednesday

A Psalm of praise. Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations."
Psalms 100:1-5, KJV

Music continues to be our focus for the week at the Henry household.  Last night consisted of practicing the little cowboy's song for the music talent exhibit for today.  The little cowboy was very excited to sing for the second grade class along with two other children and the music was provided by another fellow second grader who played the piano.  To say that Mimi, Nonna and I were impressed is a complete understatement.  The team work that was displayed by each voice was phenomenal but the sweet little girl who played the piano brought tears to my eyes.  It truly was a joyful noise created by the second graders.  The session ended with the entire class playing the bells and singing, "Jesus loves me".
It just doesn't get any better than that!

If you can't find the workout video for Leslie Sansone at Walmart ~ no worries!

My new sign in my closet says this . . . . .

haha.

with the following affirmation that I wrote below it.

I, Stephanie Henry, am committed to myself and my family to be the healthiest I can be.
I am committed to put myself first each evening at 6:30 p.m. to exercise for 60 minutes.
I am committed to doing this 6 times a week.
I am committed to exercising even when I don't want to , don't feel like it, or feel tired.
I sleep better when I exercise, I have less stress when I exercise, and I deserve to be healthy.
With God's strength, help, and my determination I am achieving my goals.

Our Friday weigh in is right around the corner.
Stay strong ~ believe in yourself ~ and get moving.
With love & respect, Stephanie
